Anyone heard of Salvatore Monteleone?

I recently ran into a well-dressed and well-versed gentleman who claimed to
be a painter by the name of Salvatore Monteleone. According to him, he
created a movement about 30 years ago he called leoneism (or leonism), which
is somehow an offshoot of cubism. It was supposed to be the next great
movement in contemporary art. Instead, he wound up going into isolation, or
so he says, to continue painting and avoided all contact with the art world.
He says he has hundreds of pieces he's now ready to unveil.

He's asked for my publicity help but I hesitate because I've never heard of
him. Have you ever heard of an artist by this name or about his "so-called"

I'd appreciate your help.
