re: too many requests

Do you have an art club? One year I had "art angels" who came and did
all kinds of things for me. When they could come afterschool (it was
not real organized, just whenever they could come) we would often do
little projects with the supplies that were out from the day. Would
something like that work to get these extra projects done? You could
let those requesting the "projects" know that you only had 5 (or 10 or
whatever) kids in your extracurricular group that would be working on
it. ...

Or, what about giving a mini-lesson to the whole grade level (or school)
of teachers, so they could direct their classes to do something on that
level?

Just ideas. I agree that we are Over Requested! Last year I had to
paint backdrops for the music dept. ONCE A MONTH! PLus costuming props,
etc. Luckily, we have a new music teacher this year, and I am not the
"new" one, so hopefully I won't get stuck (as the new teacher, I thought
it would be good PR for my program, which was also new, to have helped
with the music programs ~ established and much attended by parents)
