Re: vouchers vs public schools (delete if not interested)

Although I"m not in favor ofvouchers, we here at my H.S. have been told that
people are coming here for the art program and that it is one of the calling
cards for our school. There are many good depts. in our school, but we have
grown into a large dept. and people from around the district try to come here
if their child is interested in Art. With vouchers, many schools would be
available to the parents and if your program is strong the administrators
will try to use this as a way to bring in students with that interest.
