Dawn,

Whenever the urge takes you, run over to an art supply store (Michaels,
Posners and Colorcraft come to mind here in Tucson) They frequently have a
list of artist who at very least give classes at the store who could be
contacted and asked what they charge the locals for private or individual
lessons. The other possibility is the bulletin board bor business cards.
Colorcraft has one or used to--haven't looked recently. Lots of offers
there. Sometimes rates but most often phone numbers. Call and ask! Tell 'em
your plan or pretend to be a potential student--whatever feels comfortable.
