Find out what the piano and voice teachers charge per half hour. Plot your
fees in compliance with that with a charge for materials, similar to what
the ceramic studios do. The rate around here is 8.oo per half hour, so if I
were to do it again, I'd charge a minimum of 14 for 1 hour if I wanted to
fill it up, 16 per hour if I wanted to keep it pretty small. I prefer to
have 2 to 6 students in a private group like that, especially if it's skill
intensive, like calligraphy. Hope this helps. Linda
