Sorry I did not add my ideas when the question of fundraising came up,
but the last couple of weeks have been hell.
The primary ( I suppose elementary school in Americanese!) school my
kids attended had a very novel idea that produced some hilarious
results. The kids were asked to portray their parents in a way that
would identify them. The art work was displayed and at a parents evening
the big folks had to identify themselves (for a fee of course!)
embarrassing pictures had a higher pricetag, like the father pictured
watching TV chewing his toe-nails!Once the picture was identified and
the fee paid, the parents could remove it. Needless to say, the toe-nail
chewing father was quite happy to fork ou a couple of bucks to remove
The other idea is a bit of a self-serving one, so if this offends
anyone, I do apologise. I supply a Scout group in Germany with Zulu
beaded bracelets that they sell to raise funds. If anyone is interested,
contact me.(The beadwork comes from some of the survivalist crafters I
I hope you are all enjoying your summer holidays and am really pleased
that more members stayed on line during your summer break than last
year. It got really lonely sometimes!
