Diannabanana,

Marc Chagall is an interesting artist. Since I am a first year teacher I
didn't have allot on him but I looked up some interesting sites for you to
check out.

The book is about Monotypes from 1966 -1975.
It has some really great information in too.

Since the advent of photography which ate up all the work that the
trained artist had counted upon the artists were now turning to the
pursuit of fine art in 1911.
Inventions change history and the artist has to figure out how to survive
doing what they truly love. Chagall blends his relationship with painters
Robert and Sonya Delaunay in to circles and images in his new works. They
were working with cubism and he in his style, extended the scheme into more
of a refined image with the many circles. This site gives a nice historical
background as well as several really nice visual images of his work. The
site shows his various styles over a period of time. A must see website.

This is another interesting site to check out for Chagall work.

Hope you enjoy.
