In response to teaching art history to highschool students:

I would suggest that you introduce the "new" or later artists to the
beginning classes rather that the more advanced students. This gets the new
students more interested sooner. I learn this because I teach art history
all of the time. Another way is to have the students do art hisory projects
on the computer. This will give them a chance to go to virtual museums and
look at all types of neat things. It makes art history a lot less boring to
the students if we step up to the future also.
