Oklahoma City for a few years had a multicultural festival called
"Traditions". I loved it. Many different ethnic groups in the city had
booths, and at one, I had a Mehendi butterfly drawn on the palm of my hand.
I was amazed at the speed and fluency of the women who did the drawing. They
were also demonstrating the traditional floor paintings with rice paste.
