I have used Chagall in a similar way related to dreams and dreamworlds. I
also have used the storytelling in his works to have my students think of
what stories they would like to tell in a painting, stories of their people
like Chagall also did. We did paintings of weddings and other special
celebrations and tried to combine the fantasy and characteristics of our
culture. The students made beautiful works and loved Chagall.
Best regards from the far north, where the sun shines all night these days!!!
