Nancy and all-
I had trouble linking to the site you posted, although I have visited
the NTIEVA site numerous times before. Can you give me directions from
the ntieva homepage to find the link?

I'd like to share with other art educators who are involved in creating
public art installations with youth.

I am currently involved with another public art project this summer,
building a stained glass installation for a local community center that
serves the performing arts.

I am working with 10 students, ages 14-21. The windows are pretty
sizeable, 2 (4' x 7' ). The students have created all the design
work... we are doing a 'homage to Matisse' and our 'cartoons' are based
from the students' cut outs (cut and paste collage).

Are there some others out there working on public art projects with
students? I find it very exciting! What kinds of things have others
done? Successes? Challenges?
