In May one of our Elementary Art teachers retired. We are currently
looking for a replacement. The position is a traveling art teacher for
three schools. There is no art room so you must travel on a cart.
The opening is is Cahokia Dist. #187, Cahokia, Illinois, real close to
St. Louis, Missouri. We will we interviewing July 13th, starting at 8:00
in the morning. If interested contact the District Office at-1-618-
332-3700 or Fax 332-3706.
I am one of the elementary art teachers in the district and I will be
on the interview team. I need your input: What would be some good
questions to ask these people interviewing for this elementary art
I plan on asking about their discipline plan, and asking what would you
do, if one of your students refused to do an art project? I would also
like to see if they have a curriculumn outline and some examples of art
work that they have done with elementary children.
Do you guys have any more ideas of what we could ask them??
Thanks, I sure appreciate it as I have never done this before.
