Middle School Schedules

Hi all,
This is my 2nd year teaching middle school, and now I have not
just
6,7,8th graders in the same classroom, but also those who I had last
year and those who have never had art. Also, in El Paso, I have about
5-10 students who don't speak,write, or understand English while I being

new to El Paso, don't speak, write, or understand Spanish (just words,
not sentences yet).
I taught high school before and it was Art I, Art II, etc. and I knew
how to have some sort of consistency in my educational process. Right
now, I am, in many ways, at a loss as to which direction to go in.
I would appreciate hearing from other middle school art teachers

about
how their school does the scheduling, and also about any ideas which
would better serve this population.
