Has anybody looked at links between tesselations and MUSIC?
I'd like to explore how this can be done.

John,
The approach we are taking to this interdisciplinary course is through
creating interpretive correlations. The course is entitled "American
Foundations" so we are only looking at American art, music, literature
through American history. Our own correlation research papers have to
be made within a ten year span of all the art, music and literature
investigated & correlated to each other.
So you might do this by looking at M.C. Escher, music of his era and
literature of this era to find potential correlations. The theory goes
beyond influence but looks at how history, social and cultural values
shape the arts, and how the arts reflect our history.
