Hi Leah--you misunderstood. The good/bad reference applies to _subject
matter_ not style. ie., a visual of victims of a car crash vs. a couple
on a park bench.
As to Rockwell/Van Gogh; there's no denying they're first-rate artists
and a preference is simply a matter of taste--but of course, there's
never been an artist who could handle paint like Van Gogh! To know
this, however, you must see the actual paintings, rather than
reproductions.
