Following Nancy's suggestions, my students and I have made offrendas to 3
artists the past 2 years around Halloween and have a big "feast" as close to
November 1st as possible. They love it and learn a lot. I have photos of the
offrendas if you are interested in seeing those. I JUST got a scanner and
could send them to you in the next couple of weeks as I experiement if you
are
interested.
Hope this helps!
Mary Jane
I am sending Annette and attached file with all the information and
worksheets
I have on the above artists and Nancy's information on Days of the Dead
activities and will send it to any other individuals who are interested.

I am SO interested in receiving this info, also. I have a new job teaching in
a highly populated Hispanic district. In the past, I used Jay Conley's Day of
the Dead pariscraft & wire skeleton project, but I will be doing art on a
cart. I don't have long enough periods to use pariscraft.
Please send me the info. Thanks SO much in advance!
