Yes, ARTS AND ACTIVITIES is still alive and kickin'. I've been subscribing
for 6 years and love it. This is a magazine that features project ideas
for elementary, junior high and high school. I teach middle school and
generally try some of the high school level projects with my classes. I

I generally tear out projects I'm interested in trying and put into a HUGE
binder for "project ideas". I now have a binder 7" thick full of ideas!
When my brain runs dry, I take a trip through my binder for refreshment!
Many of these ideas are from ARTS AND ACTIVITIES. I also went to my county
Board of Education library and found they had copies from many, many years
ago. I went to the copy machine and updated my binder with copies of the
years I had missed. Spent one entire day last summer doing this. Found it
to be really worthwhile, at least for me!
