UMax, Agfa, Epson are good. $500. is low end, although UMax makes one in
that range. Check out MacWarehouse, MacMall, Mac Connection (mail order),
they may have Web sites. Do a search. Be aware of what software comes with
the scanner. I got the full version of Photoshop with the last one I
bought.
