Thank you for your response.
At one point in your response you wrote "approach works of art through a
comprehensive method investigating and discussing works of art and following
through with a related production activity"...
* why should the production activity follow?
* couldn't the production activity initiate the research into other works of
art?
* why should the production activity be such that it is conformed to relate to
known artists/works of art, thus the freedom of the production activity might be
lost?
* could not the production activity if engaged in prior to research actuallly
make the reseach more meaningful?
* if each students art work is an original response to an idea, their
consequential images would be different, therefore their research would lead
them to different artists?
Just ideas and thoughts.
