Lauren H. Killam recently announced her new web page, which I've just had
the pleasure of visiting. It is a nice beginning of a collection of lesson
plans and units for elementary level art. The Egyptian Scarab and Insect
lessons sounded especially interesting to me. Lauren has requested
submissions which she will include on the page, with credit, as soon as you
contribute. I think that web pages like this can be very enriching and
full of great ideas and jumping off points. It cuts right to one of my
basic needs as a new teacher. I intend to e-mail something as soon as I've
had a chance to edit it. Won't you other art teachers send in your
favorite lessons, and make this a full, well rounded resource? Bravo
Lauren!
