[teacherartexchange] having trouble sending messages to the list

I sent a message, but it seems like it hasn't gone through. Does it take several minutes before the messages show up on the list and get e-mailed to everyone. I got a confirmation e-mail, but could not find my message on the list. thanks for any help you can offer.
