San D has expressed this so well. We, as Educators, want to encourage free
expression but not at the cost of that which counter-productive to a society
that does not want or support drug abuse or crime. Young minds absorb much,
very easily, as if it is the norm when it is not. Let's encourage positive
expression.
Do we want to live in a crime-ridden society? No!!! A million times, NO!
Neither do their parents.
"Free expression" doesn't mean NO boundaries. At times, although rarely, we
need to draw lines somewhere even if it is in our classroom.
