Hi San D,
Congratulations will love this!! A colleague and I
attended it about 15 years ago. It was a fantastic experience (the
theme that summer was art of the Renaissance!) The Institute made
provisions for us to stay at the dorms of a small Catholic college--I
think in Alexandria, and shuttled us to the NGA each day. We even
got to work in some of the styles of the day, using media like egg
tempera. One professor demonstrated gold leaf application. The
faculty is top notch.
