Dear Art Educators,

I received this from James Miller. Please note that if you send
artwork for their exhibit it will not be returned to you. Maybe you
could scan the work and send prints?

From James Miller:

In Weslaco, Texas, 10 art teachers worked together to purchase an
exact replica of David. The replica is directly from a master mold of
Michelangelo's famous sculpture. Although its only a fragment of the
sculpture, the head is four feet tall!

The sculpture will be dedicated to the youth and will be presented to
the Weslaco Chamber of Commerce on a long term loan. The ceremony is
scheduled at the chamber on September 18, 2006.

A mail art exhibit will be also on display with art from around the world.

If you are interested in participating, please mail a 8 1/2 x 11 paper
that focuses on the head of David.

Envelopes and art will be on display at the chamber. First 365 entries
with no returns.
Publicity through local and state press and art organizations.
