I'm with Wendy, sounds like a great job for you. And wow...6 classes
and all ceramics!!

If it is a new program I am guessing they will all start out
as "beginners" along with you. Research, explore, get some basics
under your belt this summer, start with hand building, low fire, etc,
go for it and keep on learning!

Worried about wheel throwing in particular? Like Linda said, she has
known many that have worked for years perfecting their craft--call on
their expertise! have a local potter come in to demonstrate, Marvin
has a great tutorial, show demo videos---whatever you need to do
because how the students will learn will be by doing! and doing! and

 So, do you think a great art teacher can teach any media? any grade
level? any ____ ? thoughts?
