Has anyone done an art lesson on Picasso and Guernica? I have my final teach
(for my methods class) on Monday...has to be 17 minutes long. I have to do
an explanation, six questions at each level of Blooms, then fascilitate a
discussion at the evaluation level. I thought it might be interesting to do it on
Guernica, art as a vehicle for political commentary...maybe tie it into today
and the war in Iraq. Any ideas? I tried to find the PBS special on it, but
it exists nowhere in Miami, and I've checked out the only videos I can find on
Picasso only to find that they are too old to play in my machine. I can't
even find the movie with Anthony Hopkins at any video store! Very frustrating.
Thanks for any advice!
