A couple feet down the rack was another that was

interesting way to start with my 7th graders.
Reminds me of my first day at a school in Ft.Lauderdale. I dressed up with a
grey wig with a bun, tiny glasses, a gaudy hat. I wore a hot pink muu-muu and
red and white striped socks. I finished with saddle shoes. My Principal said
it was OK. I introduced myself as "Artessa Brush". The Kinders and first
graders had dropped jaws when I went around to the rooms, introducing myself.
What fun.

I still have a bit of the "wild side" in me. I turned up with a Tina Turner
wig in high school last year. Hey, we art teachers can get away with that
stuff. Who was it on the list that said she wore all these different sox with
Birkenstocks?
Aren't we a FUN group?
