Hi. Highschool students who take an art course for a full near at the private school where I teach are billed a lab fee of $40 per year. From this, I purchase all consumable materials, plus tools, equipment, computer supplies, visual aids, reference books, services, and make a departmental contribution to the school's copy machine account. I've found this amount to be generous. J.
