The following event is part of the TAPPED IN (
Festival, set for July 21. See the Tapped In Festival 2004 webpage at and link to the time zone
friendly schedule of events.

Tapped In's Arts in Corrections is a group that serves as an advocate
for arts as both a literacy and a therapeutic tool. Join this discussion
to learn about several of the many exciting programs that are available
to enhance your students' writing and communication skills by
integrating the arts into your curriculum. This workshop looks at ways
of addressing the multiple intelligences of at-risk, alternative and
incarcerated individuals and using the arts to provide differentiated
learning across the curriculum.
