This lesson can be adapted for all grade levels. Even elementary students
will get into making shields. Sandy Bacon did a cut paper lesson with her
students (this is a common lesson for 6th grade students as they study
middle ages in social studies). Elementary students can use poster board and
tag board too. You can adapt lesson to use tooling foil as well (and color
with permanent markers).
