Does anyone have specific suggestions about organizing classroom supplies and areas for storing student work?
I'm not sure what happened at the end of the year in one of my new schools, but it looks like a tornado went through the room and deposited everything in the storage closet! I haven't even seen the inside of my other classroom yet. Right now, I'm working on organizing the half a dozen or so sections of large shelving in the closet. I've got them categorized so far into office, paint, non wet media, paper and kiln supplies, and I'm going to put labels on things so I can find the containers of sponges, cotton swabs, etc again. I think the main question, well two questions, I have are:
1. Any suggestions on which supplies to put in the art room cabinets instead of the storage room (which is part of the art room)?
2. I'll have between nine and twelve classes each semester in each of two schools. How should I label the drying racks and in process project storage areas?
