Hi Patti,
   Another extension would be to look at churches from Scandinavia--Norway,
Sweden--their wood churches are very exotic, too. Try to find some
Russian/Eastern Orthodox cathedrals in your area. Often they have good info
on the architecture style/history of the building and some have tours.

Any suggestions/ideas/brainstorms out there for a lesson inspired by the
architecture of Russian cathedrals and their painted "onion" style domes?
