Oh - and don't forget Winslow Homer. If you live up north, You might try Tom Thomson, a Canadian artist. www.TomThomson.org He's one of the 'Group of Seven' major Canadian Artists. Sort of Impressionistic landscapes. Land I once visited and loved.

Edward Hopper sailboats would be great for summer. Grandma Moses would
be great for winter or any season. The Monet of the woman with the
umbrella in a field of flowers looks pretty summery. Monet also did
some of his haystacks in winter, didn't he?
