Denise, it was not your post that bothered me, sorry if the example I
used just happened to be yours specifically. I truly did not mean to
chastise anyone. I also believe that spelling and grammer are
important. However, I just wanted to state that within the confines of
this list, I don't want any of us to be judging anyone's intelligence,
etc., based upon typos and speaking off the cuff, which is what many of
us sound like we are doing here. WIth 60-100 emails a day that I LOVE
reading, I don't want anyone to feel that they have to be uptight about
editing.
I'm spending a huge amount of time in here reading and commenting and
saving things to my own use. To think that we have to edit as well
might really make me feel differently than I do now about the comfort
level of this list. It's more like a conversation than a proof of how
great we are at using the English language. PLEASE don't stop posting!
I am sure I will think twice before I use the word "at" again, and
that's a GOOD thing! Thanks for the reminder. That being said, I'm
sorry! I didn't mean to upset anyone, and would feel awful if you or
anyone else did not post again because of anything I had said. Mea
culpa!

Linda
