They tried to give him a monthly column in American Artist (he is the highest
paid artist in the world) and the outcry was so severe they let him go. I
thought the readers were unnecessarily cruel in their comments.
I don't like his art either but as artists I thought we were to be the most
accepting of expression.
It's funny how any form of art is acceptable in the fine art world unless
it's representational.
