Hi all!
Just thought I'd share a project I am working on. I am taking a
Modern Art History class for teachers. Our final project is to create a lesson
plan that incorporates Modern Art into our subject area and teach it to the
class. Being one of the only art teachers in the class, I paired up with a phys ed
teacher. (Who I thought was going to start crying when he realized what we
had to do for a final project!) :) We came up with the concept of acting out
the movement and rhythm of the brushstrokes in a painting. Because some of
these teachers are taking an art history class for the first time, I figured no
one was sick of Van Gogh's Starry Night yet. Has anyone ever done a project
like this? Any tips? I am excited about it!
