Woo hoo - all you art teachers in *my* state!!! How fantastic!!!

On a practical note let me offer some advice:
1.) hydrate, hydrate, hydrate....if you still have a few days before you
leave drink water like there's no tomorrow (I'd recommend at least 1.5 liters a
day)...and continue doing so while you're here.

2.) Keep up on the multi-vitamin. It's amazing how those little extra
reserves of vitamins B,C,D......etc. can help you deal with such an intense

3.) Ginger. .....ginger snaps, crystalized ginger, ginger ale...nibble on
it, chomp it, suck on it, drink it. That will prove to be a lifesaver when it
comes to dealing with the altitude (esp. if you end up venturing out of Santa
Fe and head up to higher country).

4.) Sunscreen *and* an umbrella. Our weather is tricky this time of year -
in the morning you're gettin scorched and in the evening the monsoon rains
will get you.

Enjoy the Land of Enchantment!
