I just checked at Home Depot (In NY state) They had chalk board paint (I
have even heard of magnetic chalk board paint, but this wasn't it). It was by
rustolium and was $9.+ a quart. I think one quart will probably give me a good
2 coats. They had black, but I believe there is also green. I will look at a
couple of other H.D.s to see if they have green. I could probably go to my
local paint store (closer than HD and on the way home) and they probably either
have it or can order it for me.

I have not heard about it being toxic. I mean they show examples of it on
children's furniture so I would think that it has to be safe once it is dry.
The directions did suggest priming metal surfaces. The primer was $6.+. So I
will probably spend $20 to get 2 huge bulletin boards...works for me!!!
