Hi,

Did the Sax catalog say what the ingredients are in the turpentine substitute? Probably one of the following. Flash points are listed to the side of each.

Benzene (Petrol distillate) -60 deg. F
Xylene (Coal industry byproduct) 80 deg. F
Tuolene (ditto) 45 deg. F
Isopropyl alcohol 59 deg. F
Acetone (molasses, corn) 15 deg. F
