preliminary interview

I just had a 'preliminary interview' for a teaching job which was to be
numerically evaluated ( I believe) based on my answers. The interviewer was not
able to interact with me; just read the question and then wrote a score. Could
someone share what these are called, how these are scored and/or where to go for
more info? Probably should have asked this before the test, but what are they
particularly going for in a high score?
