I also meant to give you all a contact at the Studio Museum in Harlem.
Thelma Golden is the curator there and would be willing, I think, to give any
group a history of the museum -- her own personal history of working at the
Whitney(?) being "too outspoken" and her current work with contemporary
artists of color. The exhibits there are always changing and are always
consciousness-raising!!
