I've seen Token Response done successfully with 1st graders. I've played it
with 2nd graders. I would do it the second day. The 1st day we go over ground
rules--what the 3 B's (Be respectful, Be responsible, Be safe) look like in
the art room. Then the kids illustrate one of the rules. I let each class use
something brand new (the crayons, markers,etc) and we talk about our limited
resources.
