Just a piece of advice, but not related to what you're asking for. I was just
let go from a position after five years, 3 part, 2 full. The reason I was let
go, actually there was no reason. We got a new principal who changed a lot of
things and let go of six good teachers. My advice would be to document
everything you can, keep any memos or emails, and get clarification of any
instructions. Check your contract for an evaluation procedures, etc. etc.
Because we were use to having things a certain way, and he didn't keep up on
anything. He is just a crappy principal. Anyway, talk to veteran teachers
and see if they RIF, reduction in force, where you will be let go but
possibly rehired later. If they don't then ask about keeping your job and get
advice from them. Hope this helps. Good luck.
