Re: marking on kids' work

As a HS teacher- having art 2-6 in one classroom, I am constantly giving one
on one assistance to my students. I buy 2 rolls of cream colored tracing
paper 18" long which lasts me all year. I walk around with a roll and a
triangle to explain concepts etc. in depth. I tear off the section using the
straight edge of the triangle and leave it with the student. I do have white
tracing paper for the students to use ... From a distance, I could tell who
I have helped by the color of the tracing paper.
-I now will be traveling to the middle school to teach 6th graders during the
last block of the day. I guess I will be doing something similar with
them-although a lot less frequently as I will be addressing the entire class
with my presentations instead of the one-on-one at the HS level.
