I have no problem giving the "appropriate subject matter for school art
speech". I also have no problem telling students to change their work if
they put in something that is not appropriate. The guidelines are pretty
simple, no swear words, no violence, no weapons, no copying. I tell them if
they want to do it at home that is fine, but these things are just not
appropriate in school. I have never had a problem.
