Need advice-colored pencils

Hi All, Regarding colored pencils, can you tell me if you keep them in the
original box they come in or do you put them in another container once you
get them? Also do you prefer boxes of 12 or 24?? I'm being asked this
question and thought I'd go to the "real source." So as to not tie up the
