It's supposed to be in the 90's and humid today in New York, too. Here, we
hit the beach where it's usually cooler. Today I'm invited "out east"...in
Long Island lingo it means to the most easterly end of Long Island. A
teacher friend from school has a home out there right on the Atlantic Ocean
and has an annual "Babes on the Beach" party. We'll swim, sail, eat, drink
and be merry! Not a bad way to spend a hot day!

Woody, is there any water nearby you in Kansas City? Must be a pool
somewhere close. My 2nd choice is to put the air-conditioner on in my studio
and paint. (actually, this is probably my 1st choice.) An air-conditioned
mall or movie theater is my 3rd choice. Not as exotic sounding as Maggie,
but fun nevertheless!

Tryin' to keep cool on Long Island, Susan
