Hi Kimberly: it's possible that they are in a hurry because it's a tough
school/situation -- they shouldn't expect you to make a decision in 24 hours
though. If you do take the position and if it is a tough situation -- a lot
more positions will become available to you next year. Most teachers right
out of school have to take a less than ideal job the first year, but it
actually makes you a more attractive candidate in the future.

You could keep applying, but once you sign a contract you really need to
honor it. You don't want word to get out that you've broken a contract, I
think.
