 Anny- It is how you begin your can use
something theatrical, funny, something that creates interest and enthusiasm
when introducing something new (something that will 'suck them in').....and
you should always bring something in that 'bridges" them to the
other words something that recalls prior learning or knowledge about the
subject. For example, with the sketchbook lesson, after the "time travel" I
would ask students if they kept journals for other classes, and compare
sketchbook keeping to that, with the addition of lots of visuals. Hope that
