Foam Padding Uses for Sculpture?

Looking for Ideas! Has anyone used foam padding to create sculpture. I had
some 4" thick "chair pad" like pieces given to me and the waffle like or more
like peaks and valleys that make up a rubber foam pad to put on a Queen size
bed. Have you ever used these materials to make sculpture? Any ideas for found
art? Sharon
